Juan Molinet

"Colourful, funny and surreal at times, with an accent in character design and the use of humour, puns and visual metaphors to convey ideas.” Juan says his inspiration comes from growing up surrounded by cookie tins, sweets packaging and cartoon mascots at his grandfather’s home in Argentina. Following spells at various animation studios, he’s now based in Berlin – where his retro-hued creations have appeared in commercial illustrations for Samsung, on murals for cultural institutions, and on the front of cereal boxes.
